In the context of the World Soil Day, on Monday 5 December 2022, an online event was organised by the Institute of Soil and Water Resources of the Hellenic Agricultural Organisation "DIMITRA". Talks were held on soil health, food life cycle analysis, soil policies in the European Union, carbon sequestration and the contribution of soil to climate change mitigation. This was followed by a discussion and conclusions from the participants. The event was streamed live on the Institute's social media and was attended by around 280 people.The Programme of the Event is shown below:
